Sugar Hides Everywhere!
We say no, nada, nyet & never to adding sugar and sappy aliases.
Complete Natural Nutrition is first and foremost a nutrition company where each ingredient is hand-picked for its nutritional benefits. As a result, we never add any sugars. All sugar present in our treats is naturally occurring and very low.
We're not saying pure natural ingredients like honey, molasses and maple syrup are bad. They are not. We just don't believe in people or pets eating sugar excessively and there are far too many treats loaded with empty calories.
The proof is in the countless overweight dogs and cats that go on to develop diabetes, hip & joint problems, heart conditions, allergies, etc. We think it's time to unmask all those sugar impostors and start reading ingredient statements for healthy calories, not empty ones.
Just because an ingredient in a treat is 100% natural or organic does not mean it's healthy to eat everyday. Watch for other treats that may have added hidden sugars, such as:
Maple Syrup
Molasses
Honey
Cane Sugar
Corn Syrup
Sucrose
Fructose
Cane Juice
Maltose
Glucose
Dextrose |

In moderation, let your pet enjoy that beautiful yummy birthday cake or that scrumptious cupcake from your local doggy bakery (we're all allowed to splurge on special occasions) but please recognize the difference between healthy calories and empty calories, even if the ingredients are natural and organic.
